Remember this: It all comes to life with a vision.
I was a sophomore in college, not sure exactly sure what I wanted to be when I grew up. Then I was a teacher in front of sixth grade students, still having moments of confusion in between being someone’s favorite teacher and meeting parents at my door who would soon become my friends.
I wasn’t sure what I wanted to be, or do, but I knew for definite that teaching wasn’t my thing. Don’t get me wrong, I loved creating works of art through fictional stories and persuasive paragraphs with my students. I enjoyed the joy they expressed about having me as their teacher. I loved being with my students. Some even affectionately, and mistakenly, called me mommy on quite a few occasions. The teacher I was in my classroom took a shift when I began sharing what I learned with every student who would ever have my attention from that point on. This began a journey that lead me to where I am today. The journey to Shebah Passionflower, then to ANTHAM.
ANTHAM had always been a name I associated with the company that I would one day start, build, and run. However, I never knew what that business would be. Anyway, this journey all started when I discovered, “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne. I watched an episode of Oprah talking about this great movie that was changing lives. I ran out and bought it. I watched it, and was blown away by what I did not know. This secret was the law of attraction, which means like attracts like. Learning this 10 years ago helped me to see how I had created the chaos in my life. I understood what my mother tried to help me to understand years earlier with her statement of me being the common denominator in my relationships. At that moment, I knew I wanted to become a life coach, a term I had heard for the first time while watching the DVD, so I could share this hidden treasure with others who I thought needed to know it in order to change their circumstances.
I shared this secret with a friend who told me that she had always lived her life using the principles shared in the movie. “Seriously? Then where the hell have I been,” was my next thought. I then began my journey to research and find all I could about the law of the attraction. I studied and learned more about this universal law from every teacher that I could. I knew it, and could debate and explain it backwards and forwards. I even coached people on how it works. But, I just couldn’t get it to work for me. Well, at least not the way I wanted it to. I had successes that I could testify about, BUT I hadn’t fully grasped exactly how to harness the power within me to deliberately use it effectively. Still, I attracted more of the same experiences in my life. I attracted more of the same negative moments that I didn’t want to attract. I WANTED MORE!!!! I wanted to do this so I could show others how to do it. So, I decided to stop studying, more like searching for more answers. I knew the answers were all the same, just one simple thing. Yes, simple, but not easy.
I began to notice the synchronicities in my life and how everything is all connected. I decided to ignore the questions of how, which always stopped me in my tracks, and just do it. The how isn’t any of my business anyway. As long as I know what I want, the universe will take care of the how.
Now, my vision is clear. I AM ready. I AM certain.

Today’s Lesson:
Living life in default mood, not sure what you want to do, just doing whatever without a clear vision is sure to have you running in circles. You will continue to get the same results doing the same behavior. SO decide on your WHAT, then let the universe handle the HOW. Searching after you have decided only creates more confusion in your life.
